living in a song

 Random thoughts today :)

Do you guys feel differently about your life and what you are doing while you listen to a certain song? When I listen to a song like "There she goes" by The La's, I feel like I'm in a 2000s movie and feel the certain urge to make a new post on my blog. (You can probably guess what song I was just listening to...) When I listen to a Frank Sinatra song I feel like I belong in a jazz club in New York city. I don't know why, I just know music physically alters my feelings! If I just went through something personal and sad and I listen to something upbeat, it puts me in a better mood. On the contrary, if I listen to a sad song I start to physically feel sad. I think music and media that we consume has more of an effect on us than we think. This is why more people should know this and be concerned about what they are constantly consuming. I can speak from a personal stance and say when I was in a rough spot in my life, I just constantly wanted to listen to sad and sorrowful music. Once I completely cut that out, it changed me for the better. Anyways, this was just a random post! Hopefully you guys can get some good inspo from this! Bye for now!!

school!

Hey everyone! Have you guys started school yet? I do online school, so I start soon. But not yet. I can say with being so nervous about school starting, doing online definitely helps. I don't have to worry about mean teachers or anything of that nature. I feel like in all of my life and all of the schools I have been to, I love online the best!! I can just stay in my pajamas, am able to go anywhere freely, can work at my own pace, and more!! If you've been wanting to do online school lately, this is your sign that you should!! It's especially good in times like winter or summer when you would want to stay inside and watch Christmas movies during the day or go outside and swim for hours rather than going to school. Those things are possible because you can get your work done in much less time than going to a regular school for 7 whole hours. I'm curious about you guys, are any of you online schoolers and do you like it better than regular school?? Lmk!! Love u all, bye for now

autumn!!

 Okay, I wanted to quickly scramble up a post for you guys, and I had the perfect idea!! I can talk about my favorite time of the year!! FALL!! Based on where you live, autumn will come at a different time of the year, for me, it comes in september/october! I always decorate on september 1st so less than a month!! I can't wait. There are just so many benefits when it comes to fall; and of course, I just LOVE the vibe!! Nice weather with a slight breeze, being able to wear sweaters, uggs, drink apple cider slushies, go to pumpkin patches, watch Gilmore girls, decorate, everything to do with the color orange, listening to music with autumn vibes, going fall shopping, and more!! Ugh I am so excited. Everything I just listed is just about my dream fall day. There has always been something so beautiful about the leaves changing colors too. The orange, red, and yellow; so pretty!! Anyways, I could keep talking about my love for autumn forever, but I don't want to bore you guys. I hope you have an amazing day! Bye for now! :)

staying consistant

So, I know I told you guys I would have a new post like 2 days ago, but to be honest I completely forgot. I don't want to give you guys short/bad posts, so I am trying to think of some good ideas of things to post about. It would be so helpful if you guys could give me some ideas in the comments of posts you would want to see so I could help out with that. Thanks so much for being patient! Next post is in the works!! the analog diaries

 Similar to my post yesterday, I am going to be talking about getting off your phone and maybe even replacing it instead! 

So, as we know it, phones have DRASTICALLY changed in the past 10-20 years. People used to have nothing. Then they had the landline. Then the flip phone, then the smart phone. People may look at that as a good thing, but is it? 

Before we had every single thing at our fingertips, we had DVDs, CDs, written letters, and digital cameras. In summary, physical media. In my opinion, we should have stopped there. And now, we have the smartphone.

I used to think that the improvement in technology was awesome. I still do! But, I don't see it as a good thing for our future. Now, we have every single thing in complete convenience. A big chunk of the world doesn't turn to physical media first, but instead to their phone. They don't go to family video anymore. Nor do they watch DVD's or own a Walkman or CD player. 

The sad truth is that you can never change everyone; but that doesn't become so sad anymore when you accept it. I have faith in the people left in the world that still use physical media. The people that are now waking up to the truth and returning back to when life was a simpler time. I have faith in YOU! Always remember, a small step can change the world.
